Description
Calendar windows
Calendar windows are used by printing houses producing three-part calendars. They are used to mark the current date.
Calendar windows – types
The windows differ, of course, in size, but also in the way they are attached to the tape and the method of fastening the tape itself.
Forms of application to the tape
There are classic C-shaped windows applied to the tape. In the case of frames placed on tape, the transparent strip supporting the window goes behind the frame. The frame is attached to the strap using two guides from the rear frame.
There are windows with slots threaded through the tape. The transparent strip supporting the window passes through two slots on the sides of the opening, which mark the date on the calendar.
Printed frames are a type of frames threaded through tape. They differ from standard threaded frames in that they are made of transparent foil instead of colored foil, and the shape of the frame is printed.
Types of tape splicing
The tape can be connected using an elastic cord with metal clips or elastic cord (rubber) tied.
